Gikan Itakura's Statement:
Neshaka (Sleeping Buddha)- Jikaku-daishi opened a temple in a mountain paying obedience to the 56th Seiwa Emperor's command. This mountain's name is Ryozen (looks a like sleeping buddha) named after "Ryojusen" which Indian buddha trained in this mountain. This mountain is full of praying voices, the holy ghost that works real miracles. this shrine is visited by many people. Fuji(Konohanasakuya-hime)-Mt. Fuji symbolizes the beauty of Japanese nature and the peoples heart itself. Also Japanese romanticism. Konohanasakuya hime(princess) is the Mt. Fuji's festival Goddess. This is an old story which She (Konohanasakuya-hime)sows cherry blossom's seeds on Mt. Fuji, that is why We call it "Fuji-zakura".
